If your video display controller is sufficiently new, then try to alter your display settings from your control panel, under the DISPLAY folder (or icon). There is a Settings tab there. On the left side is a pull down tab, of which, one is a "High Color" setting. Try this setting. Depending on the amount of memory on your video controller card, the screen area may be forced to reduce to a smaller setting. If you are prevented from making changes, consider upgrading your video card. Acceptable video boards can be purchased at your local store for under $50. The graphics for each print you see here are under 30K bytes in size. This is a good trade off in speed and quality. |
